This place is so amazing. The pub downstairs is really fun and lively and the individual hotel rooms are each different and lovely. Very comfortable.
History lives with a very interesting dining experience. However the restrooms should have more attention and be less historic than the building. Great old pics of ships to enhance the decor.
Great food! Much better than several years ago. The bar and weekend bands are iconic. A must visit for when you're in the area.
Was very disappointed that the hostess wouldn't let my family (wife, two kids, grandparents) sit outside and have a drink and a cup of chowder as we had excitedly planned to do all day. (There were no tables available inside either) It had rained earlier in the afternoon and although it was currently clear skies, the hostess, with a whining attitude, said she didn't want to have to set up another table and have to open an umbrella in case it rained again. It was clear she had no interest in accommodating her customers. We waited all day for that event and were extremely disappointed. We went to the Black Seal and had a great experience and a VERY good meal. We will go there from now on. The inn lost a customer.
Super cool spot with a great drink list that's not too expensive. The artwork and paraphernalia was very interesting and fun to look through. They had a live band while I was there and they were good. I especially enjoyed the wine side of the inn. Great service and kind workers.
